I offer a depth of business experience that will benefit you in purchasing or selling Corvallis real estate. An investment in real estate is a major decision. You want a positive outcome – to sell on time, at the best price the market can produce and to see a return on your investments. Plus, you want to be able to relax knowing that your investment is in good hands. That way, you can do the things you need to do – time with your family/work, planning for your move, focusing on your priorities. I seek to help families and individuals achieve their goals for a first home, dream home, investment property or business needs.
Here’s a little information about my approach:
It’s my job to know about Mid-Willamette Valley Real Estate – including what homes are on the market and have been selling, what people are interested in when they’re looking for homes and what you can do to increase the value of your home to get it sold for the best price today’s buyers are willing to pay. I see hundreds of homes each month – and I have the background and marketing expertise to help you. So, ask me anything – by e-mail or by phone. I’m happy to help you and to answer your real estate related questions.
And, some information about my background:
For Sellers, take a look at my current listings or look at my featured homes on Realtor.com. All of my listings have my personal attention to the online components – the photography, virtual tour, written descriptions, details that are important to buyers. I was recognized in 2009 by Realtor.com with an “Award of Excellence” for online marketing. For Buyers, we’ll start out meeting to talk about your needs and how the process works. My goal is to respect your time and show you properties that are potentially a great fit for you. I work with residential properties, including new construction and resales, in a range of prices and neighborhoods. I also have experience with investment properties and commercial properties for small businesses.
I grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, with an emphasis on Housing and Community Development. In graduate school, I conducted extensive research of urban neighborhoods and recommended programs to help city government redevelop blighted areas. My first career position was as a site analyst for the Clorox company researching restaurant locations. This was the start of my interests in real estate and development. I have over 30 years experience in business/marketing. In addition to the B.A., B.S. and M.A. degrees, I hold the professional designations of Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Luxury Homes Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE, one of 4 in Oregon), Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), a designation for which less than 3% of Realtors nationwide can qualify. I’m also honored to have earned the Five Star Agent award for the sixth year in a row, Corvallis’ only agent so designated in Portland Monthly magazine.
My husband Steve and I moved to Corvallis in 1996. Steve is an engineer at HP – so I am able to keep in touch with some of the changes happening at a major mid-Valley employer. I participate in many civic and community service activities including the Greater Corvallis Rotary Club. I spend my free time hiking the beautiful Benton County trails, traveling, attending cultural events and cheering on the Beavers.
